R.O.B. has been in the series since Brawl, but he’s the only fighter to exist in the reality of real-life than in the digital world. Well sort of anyway. He was an add-on to the Famicom and NES for some really obscure games that nobody really played or remembered. This Robotic Operating Buddy has been a decent favorite of mine since the Wii era.

He’s got some unique moves. His laser eyes and that spinning disk can give any opponent a good headache or two.

And his spinning arm attack will leave some bruises. I found that many good players online had a difficult time beating R.O.B. at his own game.

His Final Smash is one of the best in the game. Who doesn’t like a big giant laser that will almost KO anyone?

When Kirby gets his power, he gets some very Virtual Boy-like googles and he can fire the laser beams too. A pretty nifty tool!

While he’s never been in my top five fighters ever, but I’ve always done decently well with him. I’m surprised I don’t see more players use him more often.
