After two major hits on N64, a new Zelda was well expected and anticipated. Nintendo was then showing off their new shiny Gamecube system to the world, and this new Zelda game was the killer-app.

Okay well maybe not. It never came out, and no Twilight Princess doesn’t count. They basically just remade Ocarina of Time with Gamecube graphics and showed Ganondorf vs Link for a few minutes.

Nintendo then decided to make a drastic graphically change to what became The Wind Waker, and fans hated the idea at first. The Wind Waker was a fine game, and if you missed it because you got teased with this demo then you truly robbed yourself of a fantastic adventure.
