Arkanoid is a classic, but I haven’t played it much. So I got my hands on an NES copy, and decided to try it out.

The NES version is Arkanoid like you know it. Almost graphically as good as the original, and plays pretty good as well.

But that’s almost the problem with Arkanoid. It was a decent arcade game idea. It would entertain you for a 10 to 20 minutes until you move on to the next machine. On the NES, you have infinite time with the game which leaves you rather bored after awhile. It’s not a bad title, but there’s really no more to offer the player than the bare basics.
