Batman: Hush came out a few years ago and I try to watch all the DC Comics animated movies. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with Batman: Hush as the name suggests little.

The story takes place somewhat late in the Batman timeline as Dick Grayson is already Nightwing. But Bruce Wayne does his typical crime-fighting at night.

We see a lot of common Batman villains in the film. Batman notices Bane and Poison Ivy up to something. But funny enough, they are just puppets on a string for a new master.

His name is Hush and he’s looking like he just got out of major surgery in the hospital. But he’s more than enough to give the Dark Knight a run for his money. The problem is, it becomes very obvious that he knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman.

I will say that I enjoyed Batman’s and Catwoman’s relationship in the movie. But it often falls under some of the common cliches that we have seen before from those two.

The Joker plays a minor role in the movie, and it’s one of the worst incarnations of the character I’ve seen so far.

As far as DC Comics animated movie, it’s pretty good. Far from the best, but definitely not the worst. I actually guessed the identity of the new villain early on. But interesting enough, I was only right with the comics, as he’s a different person in this movie.
