I’ve had a bit of free time lately so I’ve been catching up on the DC Comics animated movies. They started a little mini universe in their lineup starting with the Flashpoint Paradox . I’ve been trying to tackle these first to knock them out. This one takes place after Batman vs. Robin.

The movie starts out with the new Robin, Damian Wayne getting sent to work with the Teen Titans after defying Batman’s orders. Bruce Wayne hopes his son will learn something as he’ll be part of a real team.

Something goes horribly wrong when members of the Justice League are possessed by some kind of demon. Only Batman is smart enough to prepare for such a case and manages to get the demon out of his body. But he’s left in almost in a coma, and he won’t be able to be join the fight.

Trigon Justice League vs Teen Titans 2016 movie

The true menace behind all the evil acts is Trigon, he’s very similar to the Christian idea of Satan. He also happens to be the father of Raven. While I enjoyed him as a bad guy, for as powerful as he’s supposed to be, he did wait forever to try to take over the world.

I never really watched the Teen Titans animated series, so I only know a little bit a Raven . I really enjoyed her story and her conflict with her demon daddy.

Like most of the films in its continuation, Justice League vs. Teen Titans is a pretty decent film. Probably one of the stronger ones I’ve seen as of late. And like most of his counterparts, it could have been much better.
