Slogra and Gaibon are the first real bosses in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Though later in the game and also in the series, they often appear as just tough enemies, rather than legitimate bosses.
Fighting both at one time was a decent idea to help you warm up to the game and understand how it works.
They don’t share a health bar, so you have to defeat them independently, but it’s a decent little boss battle.
