Our Trip on The Charleston Water Taxi (South Carolina)

We wanted something fun to do during our last hours in Charleston, South Carolina. Our budget was kind of tight so we opted for the Charleston Water Taxi. My stepdaughter Princess L wanted to take a trip on a boat and it was only $14 a person.

It’s a trip around Charleston Harbor with four stops that takes about an hour.

It’s really used as a water taxi, obviously. It’s not a bad idea to get around some tourist attractions. The most notable is the USS Yorktown.

It was a decent little ride but the boat is definitely very bare basics. I was a little worried my stepdaughter would fall into the ocean because she would not sit still. My wife wanted to see if Alex would sit in his stroller but I opted for the baby carrier on my chest as I felt safer doing it that way. While we enjoyed ourselves, I definitely would rather go for a more expensive boat during our next trip.

Even being a basic trip, I’m sure you all still had a good time together.
