Rose Nylund was most probably my second favorite Golden Girl. Betty White definitely had a lot of range because her character on Hot in Cleveland is so much different from Rose. Elka Ostrovsky (if she was a smoker) would probably have put her cigarette out on Rose’s face after hearing her talk.

She actually resembles my own grandmother in looks. But unlike my grandmother, Rose Nylund is as dumb as a stump.

She was a good friend and I really did enjoy her stories that were so wacky and out there from St. Olaf, Minnesota.

She was also one of the few that could have a long lasting relationship, which she did with that guy Miles. Both of them actually cheat on each other, which I found a bit out of character for Rose.
