My wife and I recently started the Sons of Anarchy series since it’s on Hulu. It’s a better show than I realized and I can see why it almost made Charlie Hunnam a massive movie star until he started taking silver screen roles that did not do anything for his career.

The first season ended pretty crazy with Clay ordering a hit on Opie. Until they realize that Opie did not betray them to the feds, but instead his wife Donna was killed because she was driving his truck and it was too late.

Jax Teller has to juggle his hatred for his step-father Clay along with knowing what really happened to Opie’s wife and knowing how the fallout of that would hurt the Sons of Anarchy.

His love interest Tara Knowles has decided to rejoin the biker gang life despite being a respectable doctor in a hospital. She doesn’t become a criminal, but she’s loyal to Jax. But will her two worlds collide in the worst way?

The major antagonist of the season 2 are a group of white nationalists who target the Sons of Anarchy because they supply weapons to a black gang and a Mexican gang. It’s leader Ethan Zobelle is an interesting villain because he does many things that make him almost untouchable.

I also thought it was interesting to see David Hale’s internal conflict this season. While he shared some common goals with the bad guys, he definitely did not want to work with them.

I actually thought season 2 was better than season 1. It ends on a huge cliffhanger, so we’ve already started season 3.
I’ve been wanting to watch this series someday too.
One of my favorite series. I haven’t watched the spin off of The Mayans yet, but I hope it’s as good.
