Charlie Wheeler was an okay character on the sitcom Friends. While the sitcom does get criticized for lack of diversity, Charlie was part of three interracial relationships during her tenure. Which was pretty rare for any sitcom back in the day.

If I remember right, she’s a paleontologist just like Ross. But she somehow ends up dating Joey Tribbiani.

But after certain loyalties are questioned by many people, Joey ends up leaving her for Rachel and she leaves him for Ross.

She wasn’t a super bad fit for Ross but her old boyfriend was still madly in love with her. And she doesn’t have the greatest loyalty, so she leaves Ross right in front of him for her old beau.
