Last year I was a big fan of Claim to Fame and I was delighted when it came back a few months ago. The finale wrapped up not long ago and I watched the whole thing on Hulu.

The show’s premises is basically the same as it was the year before. The reality show has relatives of famous people and their job is to figure out who the other contestants are.

There wasn’t as much drama this year as it was last year. Though ironically one of the show’s biggest meltdowns came during the first guest off with Carly. She really wanted to play the game and was eliminated before the first night was over. Her rant about it probably will never be matched in future seasons of the show.

I will say they did a better job this year of keeping mysteries as last year it was about control of who could guess as time went on rather than fearing being the guesser. There was a lot more wrong guesses this time around.

I was technically pulling for Donny Osmond’s son Chris to win the competition but I won’t spoil if he actually won or not. But he was definitely the most dangerous player for the majority of the season.

But to be honest, I didn’t really like this season’s contestants as much as I liked last year’s crew. But if they continue with a season 3, I definitely will watch it.
