While one would assume the diplomatic relations between two Muslim countries like Morocco and Iran would be good, it is indeed not. Things got really bad in 1981 when Morocco offered shelter for the exiled Shah. They refused to turn him back to Iran which would have been almost certain execution. They have slightly improved in recent years however.
