Jean Claude Van Damme was the one of the few celebrities that actually played himself, if he wasn’t the only one on the sitcom Friends. I don’t know why I don’t really like the guy in real life, but I don’t really watch his movies.
On the show Joey gets a role on one of his movies that’s being filmed in New York City.
But he does seem like a pompous jerk. He quickly tries to date Rachel, and Monica was the one trying to be set up which causes the girls to fight. Rachel gets quasi-revenge by setting Monica up for real with Jean Claude Van Damme, who thinks Monica wants to have a menage a trois with him and Drew Barrymore, which she refuses.
Hubby liked him
I liked his earlier films. Haven’t heard much from him in recent years. He does seem like a bit of a douche in real life though.
