Elka Ostrovsky was one of the last characters played by Betty White before she died and her role on Hot in Cleveland is so much different than Golden Girls.

Elka Ostrovsky is rude and crude and does not have a filter in her head. She was a caretaker of the house and apparently her role was not originally meant to be permanent on the show but it’s hard to think of the program without her now.

She’s sort of becomes a mom to all the women in the house.

And eventually becomes the Mayor of Cleveland, which I thought was kind of interesting.

But what was more interesting was her family members or lovers, as there weren’t many normal people in her life.

At the end of the series, she’s around to see the 5th birthday of Joy’s daughter Betty which was sweetly named after Betty White.
