Princess Zelda obviously returns for Tears of the Kingdom and when the trailer was unveiled many years ago, fans were very positive for her short hair change. Which I would agree.

But sure enough, her and Link go exploring and accidentally wake up Ganondorf. Which he destroys the Master Sword and Link’s right arm in a matter of seconds.

And Princess Zelda accidentally winds up many centuries in the past to meet her ancestors, Sonia and Rauru. So she is some percentage, a weird alien antelope thing.

Despite knowing that Ganondorf is entirely evil, she’s not able to convince Rauru to take drastic action against him. But the Demon King makes his move and takes out her great great great great (whatever) grandmother Sonia first.

Stealing her magical item and becoming the Demon King right in front of Princess Zelda.

But after failing to kill Ganondorf in the past, she spends the rest of her days restoring the Master Sword until Link can reclaim it.

As she turned herself into a big magical dragon. I was so relieved when I actually found her and got the Master Sword back.

I was surprised she stayed in her Dragon form after retrieving the Master Sword but unsurprisingly when Ganondorf transforms into a dragon, she fights him. Though she is most notably, a lot smaller than his dragon form.

I was so relieved to see that she transformed back to her human form after I killed Ganondorf.

And her and Link have their happily ever after. Unless there’s a sequel which I’m sure they’ll be the main people screwing everything up, LOL.
