Joy Scroggs was a very likable character on Hot in Cleveland. I also thought it was kind of funny they referred to her as a off-brand Kate Beckinsale.

She was going to take the Paris trip with Melanie and Victoria and that’s how they got stuck in Cleveland, Ohio.

She definitely seemed to have the most chaotic life.

She was kind of similar to Blanche on Golden Girls of dating men a bit too young for her, at least at the beginning of the show. I don’t believe she was ever married so she never had many long-lasting relationships.

The two major ones are firstly her old boyfriend Simon returning from the United Kingdom. He was the one who got her pregnant originally and it was nice to see their family reunite for the short time it was.

But her best relationship was actually with Bob. He started out as her creepy boss at a private detective agency.

Then Bob turns out to be a good guy and actually a very good partner for her.

In which they adopt a daughter they named Betty.

And then in the last scene of the series, she’s having a birthday party.
