George Washington Duke was written to be a very unlikable character, as he’s basically a parody of Don King in real life.

He basically becomes the big shot manager of Tommy Gunn especially when the young boxer becomes heavyweight champion.

He never really cared for Tommy Gunn but he enjoyed all the money that came with him winning. But he was unable to put a leash on his dog, as Tommy Gun decided to have a street fight with Rocky Balboa which was definitely bad for business.

I thought it was funny that he always hid behind threats of suing Rocky Balboa but the former heavyweight champion decides to get a little revenge because he doesn’t have anything to lose after becoming poor.
