Morion isn’t a playable character but he’s a decent part of the story. The King of Brodia, he’s also the father of Crown Prince Diamant.

It is obvious which one is the wise ruler and the other is the one looking to make a name for himself.

But not long after we meet him, we see him in a terrible battle.

And he’s murdered by a king of a different land named Hyacinth, who had made an alliance with the dark dragon Sombron.

But what was pretty terrible for Diamant, was the fact that when you’ll go to get your revenge, you had to fight the zombie version of his daddy.
