Sid is a very brief but very memorable character in any of Adam Sandler’s films.

When Sonny Koufax meets him in Big Daddy, he thinks that he was a man his girlfriend was cheating on him with when he finds him exiting the bathroom.

Turns out, that’s exactly the case. The pair of actors share about a 37 year age gap, so he’s definitely old enough to be Vanessa’s dad. She leaves Sonny for financial stability with an alleged 5-year plan.

Which turns out to be working at Hooters was the 5-year plan, which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Unless they were the franchise owners or something. While he’s kind of a shady and shameless dude, him being friendly to Sonny after the time skip is why I can’t dislike him.
