Adam Sandler has played a lot of goofy characters and Longfellow Deeds is one of my favorites. But definitely not the top.

In fact, Deeds really isn’t goofy. As he’s just a lovable pizza shop owner that wants to write greeting cards for Hallmark.

And he unknowingly becomes a billionaire when his great uncle dies without a proper legal heir.

But he was obviously not fit for the fancy rich guy life.

It was wrong for Babe Bennett to try to trick him by pretending to be the sweet and innocent Pam Dawson.

But their chemistry was undeniable.

And they presumably have a happy ending after she rights her wrongs.
