Things I Hate: Sombron (Fire Emblem: Engage)

Sombron Fire Emblem Engage Nintendo Switch

Sombron is the ultimate big baddy of Fire Emblem: Engage and I didn’t really think he was that creative of a character nor had that great of a design.

He’s basically completely evil and can transform himself into a giant dragon. He had been defeated once before but not enough to seal him away forever.

Interesting enough, he finds a way back and the bigger shocker was that the hero Alear is Sombron’s biological child. Along with Veyle, who has the two personalities.

Final boss battle Sombron Fire Emblem Engage Nintendo Switch

The final boss battle against him is very underwhelming. You basically fight on a giant rock in space and all you really have to do is stay out of his circular range, which isn’t that hard. I’m pretty sure I didn’t lose a single character against him.

Death of the dark dragon Sombron Fire Emblem Engage Nintendo Switch

In terms of epic dragons of darkness to kill, Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears the kingdom was a lot more fun to exterminate.
