Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? popped up on my Amazon Prime list and I will say I was very intrigued by it. I didn’t realize at first that this was a continuation of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? and is essentially the same show just with celebrities instead of kids.

And instead of Jeff Foxworthy, it is Taylor Swift’s boyfriend (and Super Bowl champion) Travis Kelce. He’s not super bad at hosting, he might have something to land on when he can’t play football anymore.

Also the term celebrity is used rather loosely here as it’s basically just a bunch of stand-up comedians. I had virtually heard of almost no one that showed up to be a famous person…

Arguably the most famous one is Nikki Glaser and she is actually the smartest overall. Which isn’t totally shocking to me because she’s one of them sharpest stand-up comedians I’ve seen in a long time. Look up her roast of Tom Brady, if you haven’t seen it.

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? is a decent watch but you can definitely tell that this was only filmed over a span of two days. They didn’t even make anybody change wardrobe. That being said, I don’t think I want a second season.
