There was once a Scottish Marxist named Malcolm Caldwell. He was particularly fascinated and supported Pol Pot in Cambodia. After meeting him in person, he was murdered and probably under the orders the communist regime for being a foreign journalist. In a larger fate of irony is that this happen shortly before Vietnam had liberated Cambodia.
