Carol could easily be considered the most unlikeable character on NBC’s Superstore. She’s portrayed as a regular woman in her 40s, but written to be relatively evil.

The most memorable thing about her is her feud with Sandra, which started when she dated Jerry—only for Jerry to later leave her for Sandra. This sparks one of the weirdest love triangles in fiction, with both women deeply hating each other, to the point where it nearly escalates to violence.

At one point, Carol has this bizarre “hippie” phase, where she seems to forget all about Sandra, Jerry, and the drama.

She even appears to be trying to befriend Sandra. But I was never fooled by it—and I doubt anyone with common sense would be, either.

She waits until Sandra and Jerry’s wedding to reveal her contingency plan, which involves something wild—like killing Sandra’s cat. Fortunately, Dina steps in and saves the kitty cat. Still, it’s strange that Carol continues working at Cloud 9 until the very end of the series.
