My son is almost three, and like any kid his age, he’s pretty into the whole Baby Shark thing by Pinkfong. Paw Patrol is his current favorite, but he still enjoys Baby Shark now and then. I remember Nickelodeon came out with a Baby Shark show, and since it’s on Paramount+, it’s a little easier to give him a break from Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups.

Baby Shark started as a YouTube phenomenon, and it’s kind of funny to see it now as a full-fledged cartoon. Baby Shark’s Big Show version is a bit different, especially with how the family is portrayed. They even use professional voice actors for the characters.

The only character I recognize from the original YouTube videos is the little fish, William. As far as I can tell, the rest were created specifically for the Nickelodeon series.

My wife mentioned the same thing I’d been thinking: Baby Shark’s Big Show reminds us a lot of SpongeBob SquarePants—but more like the newer seasons that no one really talks about, not the classic, good ones.

It’s a cute little program, but it’s not very educational, nor does it have the same heart or quality as something like Bluey. Still, my son mildly enjoys it, and honestly, that’s good enough for me.
Good to know what the toddlers are watching these days, I remember it used to be Barney.
Awww! I can’t believe that your son is nearly three! Slow time down! I’m so happy for you, Adam! ❤️
3 already! Where has the time gone? Yes my daughter liked Baby Shark and Paw Patrol too, I had to sit and watch them with her! 6 and a half now and she loves Spongebob and Gabby’s Dollhouse at the moment!
Sorry that was me!
