Musclefoot is one of my most hated parts of the old Nintendo GameCube game Star Fox Adventures. He’s not a traditional boss, but I found him harder than all the other bosses combined—even Andross. That’s not a good sign for a mere mini-boss.

I don’t remember everything vividly, but I do recall that he appears at a random part of the game, and you’re forced to challenge the best fighter—Musclefoot—in a test of strength to earn the respect of some strange dinosaurs or something along those lines.

You must win this mini-game sub-boss battle, and even in my youth, I had such a frustrating, scream-inducing time with this guy.

Eventually, however, you can knock him into the hole, at which point his overlord is satisfied.

There’s not much replay value in Star Fox Adventures, but once you get past this part, make sure to save your progress.
