Ursa is one of the main baddies of Superman II, and while she’s a bit forgettable compared to her leader, General Zod, this dark female Kryptonian definitely is worth talking about.

Apparently, she, Zod, and that other dude were trapped in a prison after the explosion of Krypton. And coincidentally, they just floated to Earth, where they could meet Kal-El, the last of their kind… well, except his cousin, who also found Earth. What are the odds?

But she was definitely ready to help Zod become the ruler of Earth, and somehow she tolerated Lex Luthor and his toupee.

She has a bit of a scary moment with Lois Lane, holding her for a pretty easy kill, until Superman turns on a device that hits them with red-star energy, making them powerless.

And she’s easily punched out by Lois, which honestly doesn’t make much sense to me. Lois isn’t a fighter, has no powers, so why does Ursa take such a hit when theoretically they should be equals at best, if not Ursa having the upper hand. Overall, I liked her appearance better here than she was in the DCEU under Zack Snyder.
