Voldo is a very memorable character from the video game Soul Calibur II by Namco. Out of the main characters that are not clones, he is my most hated of them all. First of all, he is just really, really, REALLY strange.

He is supposed to be an Italian who was tortured, so all he does is dress and move as if he is going to a very controversial party. He does not even speak and only produces hissing sounds. His dagger claws are not exactly my preferred choice in terms of style or substance.

Voldo actually has very good momentum when you first get started with him. However, once a character breaks your momentum, it can be a very painful experience. He is not entirely useless, but it is very difficult to overwhelm another fighter with him alone.

He has some speed and tricks, but for the most part, against another fighter (whether they are human or CPU) I tend not to perform too well with him.

With him being some kind of bizarre, gigantic freak with no personality, there is not much to appreciate here. It is hard to believe this man is one of the original characters from the first Soul Edge game and has survived being removed, as far as I am aware.
