Charade is one of the many characters in Namco’s Soul Calibur II. The reason I hate him is that he’s not much of a character at all, he’s basically an abomination meant to be filler.

You first encounter him in the Adventure Mode, where he’s presented as one of the challenges to defeat. It’s not particularly difficult to do so, and beating him unlocks him for use.

But the biggest issue with Charade is that he doesn’t have his own moveset; he steals others. Each round is different, and sometimes you can end up with exactly the same moves as your opponent.

On the competitive side, if you know all the characters very well, this can be advantageous. Your opponent has to rethink their strategy as if you truly chose another character.

On the flip side, I think everyone has at least two characters they can’t stand to play as. It really stinks when you’re trying to win and you’re stuck with a moveset you hate.
