Seung Mina is a notable character in the Namco video game Soul Calibur II. She had appeared in every game in the series prior to this one, but this time she was an unlockable character. That also meant she was not included in the original arcade version and only appeared in the home releases. She is one of the characters from Korea, though the English localization team apparently messed up her name, which later became officially listed as Seong Mi-na in subsequent games.

Seung Mina is not much different from Kilik in terms of moveset. This was also the case in the previous game, though I have heard this issue was fixed in Soul Calibur III. Which I boycotted because it was released only on the PlayStation 2 and not on the Nintendo GameCube or the Microsoft Xbox. I hate playing as Kilik, so it has always made me wonder why I enjoy using Seung Mina as much as I do.

I guess it is probably her costume, and especially the spear tip on her pole weapon instead of it being just a martial arts staff. She definitely earns style points, at the very least.

She also has a lot of range, and I think her kick moves are actually pretty solid as well. For some reason, I also tend to do fairly well with her when facing opponents.

She is far from my favorite character in the game, but if I randomly selected a character and ended up with her, I definitely would not be upset about it. I am also glad she has lasted throughout the entire series without being cut, at least to the best of my knowledge.
