“The Andy Milonakis Show” was an MTV creation, partly guided by the now very famous Jimmy Kimmel, who at the time was primarily working with ABC/Disney. It’s somewhat surprising he was still collaborating with his old bosses at Viacom. The show was a decent program, even though it had nothing to do with music.

Now, the biggest thing most people get confused about is that Andy Milonakis IS NOT the boy in the picture above. That is “Man Show Boy,” who was part of the program with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. He’s actually my age, and his name is Aaron Hamill. The best part of the show, in my opinion, is technically the theme song: “He’s got peas on his head, but don’t call him a pea head.” Weirdly classic.

The show often feels like a weird fever dream. It must have been super cheap for MTV to produce, and it existed before YouTube really took off. At least Andy was getting paid reasonably well for making silly videos.

The craziest thing to me about the show is that Andy Milonakis is not my age. I’m currently 37 and will be 38 in August 2026. Andy Milonakis is 49 years old, the same age as Jaleel White, who played Steve Urkel on Family Matters. How on earth is this guy almost half a century old?
