Echo Jabu-Jabu Jabu is a sort of mini boss in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. While he is not the true fish-whale himself, I actually liked this fight a lot. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my favorite Zelda game, so it was fun being reminded of when Jabu-Jabu was an actual dungeon.

When you reach the area where the living door is, you start hearing rumors that Lord Jabu-Jabu has been acting strangely. It is soon revealed that he is actually an echo working for Null, and he ends up swallowing two Zoras.

This leads to a pretty memorable battle that takes place on top of the water. Normally, water based boss fights are something I cannot stand because of how awkward the terrain can be, but this one works surprisingly well.

That was especially true since I already had the Chompfin shark echo at my disposal. Being able to summon it at any time made the fight feel almost a little too easy.

After you defeat Echo Jabu-Jabu, the two Zoras are rescued and, strangely enough, not digested at all. Hopefully they were just unconscious, because remembering that experience would probably be incredibly traumatic.
