Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64 and later ported to PC. It is the direct sequel to Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.

The story continues after Dinosaur Hunter, where the Primagen is awakened.

The game was developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment.

It was one of the first Nintendo 64 games to support the Expansion Pak, allowing improved graphics.

The Nintendo 64 version was released in 1998.The Windows version followed in early 1999.

The game uses an optimized version of the engine from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, but with much larger levels and expanded systems.

The Cerebral Bore made its debut in this game and is considered one of the most gruesome weapons in FPS history. It was inspired by the Tall Man’s weapons from the horror film Phantasm.

Some human characters were removed from the German Nintendo 64 multiplayer version. Blood and gore were almost completely removed from the German version due to rating policies.

A remastered version has been released on modern platforms in recent years.
