Echo Zelda is a very notable character near the end of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on the Nintendo Switch. An evil clone of the real Princess Zelda created/controlled by Null, she definitely took me by surprise because I assumed Princess Zelda was unechoable.

After you complete all the dungeons, she manages to get the upper hand on Princess Zelda and steal her identity. Link arrives just in time to witness everything, but it is already too late. The evil Echo Zelda has gotten her hands on the Triforce.

In a great bit of irony, she also has Link captured inside a giant pink crystal, just like Princess Zelda had been. Not only in this game but in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as well.

The boss battle against her is actually fairly decent. I am glad I had a Blue Lynel with me because she is a bit of a challenge, even with a good stock of health potions.

After you defeat her, this form disappears forever. You then free Link from his pink crystal prison, which you would think would be a reward. Instead, you lose his sword and bow abilities. So technically, beating this boss battle feels more like a punishment than a reward.
