Like most Zelda games, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom features a Great Fairy. While she has a decent design, she is not the most memorable Great Fairy in the franchise by a long shot. Still, she is an overall likable character.

I actually missed her island for a good portion of the game, which is funny because it is not exactly hidden. It is also a great place to collect fairies once you have an empty bottle.

Her summoning pool is also much more subtle and less flashy than the ones in other Zelda games. Much like the original fairy fountains of the very first The Legend of Zelda title.

Once you find her, she appears without requiring any kind of side quest, which is a refreshing change compared to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The only requirement to upgrade how many accessories you can wear at once is simple: rupees.

Maybe the developers ran out of ideas, but I actually appreciated the straightforward approach of Hylian money. You can max out her upgrades fairly quickly, especially if you discover her later in the game like I did. Since there are plenty of items you can sell to shopkeepers, earning the rupees you need is not very difficult.
