Things I Like: Lueburry (Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom)

Lueburry is a new character in The Legend of Zelda series, and the game establishes him as Impa’s older brother. His role is not technically essential to finishing The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, but I doubt any player in their right mind would skip visiting his little hut.

You meet him fairly early in the game, and his house basically serves as a hub for upgrading the weapons you obtain piece by piece after defeating Echo Link.

Among the many collectibles in the game, Might Crystals are important here. Lueburry has a machine that uses these crystals to upgrade your weapons and the energy bar needed to use them in the first place.

Naturally, the sword is the weapon most players will want to upgrade as quickly as possible until it reaches its limit. That’s exactly what I did.

With all the Echoes available in the game, I personally did not use the bow very much, though I still upgraded it about halfway. I definitely did not collect all the Might Crystals, so I did not bother maxing out every stat. In the end, I did not really need to, especially after fully upgrading the energy bar and the sword.
