The Bounty Bar is a place we technically stumbled into on our last full day in Charleston, South Carolina for spring break this year. We were actually looking for a pizza place to eat because Alex really wanted pizza, and they advertised it right there in the Folly Beach area. We meant to go to The Slice, but they were not open that particular day, and the only other place we knew of was not open until 4:00. Despite being a bar, they do allow children, but obviously they cannot partake in the beverages the adults enjoy. I actually thought the place looked pretty cool, though it can kind of seem like a rough bar. Even so, it probably is not, and it definitely cannot be at noon.

I was not particularly hungry, so I just ordered the fries while my wife ordered something for herself. The fries were pretty good, but not particularly amazing. I did appreciate that they served RC Cola, which I think is an awesome soda. My wife says it is actually more common to find in bars, but I almost never see it in a traditional restaurant.

The children ordered the kids pizza, and they did not seem to be entirely impressed. When Alex did not finish his pizza and said he was done, I took a bite just to see, and it was pretty bad. I thought this place was pretty cool, and it is, but their kids pizza is definitely an afterthought.
