Yesterday I spent a lot of time with my mom, and she had the idea to visit Duncan Park. I haven’t been in a few years, and honestly it’s one of the few things you can really do during all this covid-19 shutdown. I notice they remade their playground.

I’m surprised it didn’t have caution tape, as there is a sign that prohibits it being used because of covid-19.

I always take a look at the baseball fields as I played Little League here for many years. The city really has let the park run down. Most of these stands, I would refuse to sit in because of rust.

One of my most beloved things in the park is the giant baseball stadium. It used to be the stadium for a minor league baseball team. I played a few games here myself. I do believe Spartanburg High School is the official occupant at the stadium now.

One of the first things I noticed that was new was these batting cages. I really wish they were here when I played Little League.

My mom and I mainly walked the trail yesterday.

The walking trail leads you to a big lake. I saw some Canadian geese swimming our way.

Once they saw we had no bread, they went the other way.
What a fun place full of memories for you, Adam! There was yellow caution tape in our nearby Red-Tailed Hawk Park. People pulled it down and used the equipment anyway!
Such a lovely place to spend a few hours!
