One of my favorite characters, Kurama was definitely one of the best on the show.

We at first think he’s actually a bad demon, but that’s not the case.

But he was actually a demon that merged with a human fetus in a way to survive after being seriously wounded.

I would say it was a true merger, as Yoko Kurama doesn’t seem the type to sacrifice himself to save his mother.

That rose whip was always pretty awesome.

He had a lot of the best fights as well.

This one by far the most impressive as he was really up against tough odds.

Most of his opponents found out that you really can’t outsmart him.

And over powering him isn’t a guarantee.

It was rare to see him very close to death.

It was cool there was a way to bring back his alter ego past self for a short time.

This was definitely my favorite fight for him.

Though I always wonder why he took so long to do anything after becoming Yoko. Because he didn’t kill Karasu before the transformation was over.

He manages the luck out at the very end, but had lost the match due to a time out.

I liked his fight with Gourmet.

Who was really Elder Toguro looking to steal more powers.

That sinning tree was pretty sick.

I did like his attempt to try to avenge Yusuke.

Though the trio failed ultimately.

During the Three Kings saga, he is employed by Yomi to join his side.

As they were old friends back in the day. Ironically, Yoko hired a powerful demon to kill Yomi for being stupid.

During that saga, Kurama was definitely far from the greatest demon in the series in terms of power.

He loses in the tournament early on, but is saved by his old friend from dying. That was kind of sweet and away.
