I heard Nintendo made some arcade games after the NES. The Nintendo Vs. system was a clever way of them to bring the NES to the arcades. Though it’s a much different type of cabinet than a standard arcade machine. You could imagine this one more in the corner of a pizza parlor than in a real deal arcade.
Either way I had not seen one until now. I love Nintendo but this thing is pretty uncomfortable and confusing. It’s designed a screen on both sides with two sets of controls on each side. It’s kind of cramped and the screen isn’t the greatest.
They’re mostly NES games, the one I played was Vs. Super Mario Bros. which apparently was much more difficult than the NES version. As I sure did not get very far. I also thought using a joystick and arcade buttons to move Mario was inferior to the D-pad and console controller buttons.
