Green Hill Zone has been a stage ever since Brawl. But for a stage based on the Sonic the Hedgehog games, what else would be your first choice? The level was so iconic, it’s not even funny.

It’s not too wacky of a stage, You will eventually see some of those checkpoint poles, but instead of helping you like they do in Sonic, they spin around hurting whoever runs into it. Using those to your advantage can help win many matches here.

The stage will eventually see a pitfall. Be careful not to fall down.

While far from my favorite stage, I was glad to see it return for Ultimate. It didn’t make the WiiU version of Smash 4, but it was on the 3DS version I never played.
