While I like the stage, it hasn’t been one of my favorites ever since Brawl. It’s based on the final city of Mother 3 on GBA, which is Earthbound’s Japan-only sequel. From I can tell, they somewhat made it true to the game it’s based on. But it’s a huge stage.

And it’s a bit plain in design. The 2nd biggest thing is the ship that goes from left to right.

And the Ultimate Chimera (from Mother 3) which will kill you instantly with one bite. Luckily, the beast is rather easy to avoid.

I think it would have been better if it had been smaller. It’s not so bad with two fighters, but a big party makes the screen very hard to tell where you are and what you’re trying to do.
