While he’s technically a member of the Ten Commandments, he’s not exactly the villain you think he is.

And Meliodas absolutely wrecks him. But he manages to survive.

Turns out he’s a member of the giant race and technically its king. He sends Diane to relive his moments during the first holy war when he was actually an ally of Meliodas against the demon race.

Everything goes pretty well until he fights Zeldris. The Demon King’s executioner gives him an ultimatum, join the Ten Commandments or die. And that’s what he did. For better or for worse, I do understand why he did it.

I was glad to see that he actually protected Diane from Chandler, but at the cost of his own life. It was a bit sad to see him go.
