I will admit that she’s a good villain, but one you wanted to see fall hard. She’s one of the Ten Commandments and one of its most powerful and dangerous members. One of the first thing she does after being freed is to revive all those who died with regrets, which had been done for sinister reasons.

During the first holy war, she was supposed to sabotage the goddess race with a demon portal in their headquarters. Instead she’s tricked by the real Gowther to free him out of his prison.

Her first real battle after being freed was against the Sin of Pride, Escanor. She learned too late how dangerous he was.

After trying to eat his soul, she fails when Escanor’s magical power sunshine consumes her with a blaze of fire.

She manages to survive that and a very brutal attack by Ban later. She is very difficult to kill.

And she reveals that her true form is of a giant snake. A pretty impressive incarnation that ironically fails to take out any of the Seven Deadly Sins.

She manages to survive the whole series but only because Merlin turned her into a smaller snake, so she could perform “scientific” experiments on her. I would consider that fate to be worse than death. She definitely deserved it.
