Zack and Wiki was a very overlooked title for Wii. So overlooked that even I didn’t pay much attention to it before it flopped commercially. I don’t even remember where I bought the game, but I know it was cheap.

The game stars a young lad named Zack who wants to be a big bad pirate. He also has a cute monkey named Wiki. Oh and some other friends as well, but they’re not important.

The game is basically a point-and-click puzzle game. The controls seem like they’re made for PC not the Wii. It’s a bit strange, I’m guessing Capcom had a PC port planned incase this game sold well enough.

The game is actually very good even though it’s hard to tell from screen-shots alone. The game is charming with cute characters and a funny story. The puzzles range from simple tricks to complex riddles. And the quest is pretty meaty with lots of fun to be had. It’s a real shame we’ll never see a sequel. Especially with the plot twist at the end.
