Since the Seven Deadly Sins is based on Arthurian Legend, it would be odd for King Arthur not to show up. But he is a minor yet notable character.

Like the traditional stories, he’s the King of Camelot and he arrives with Merlin. He owed King Bartra a favor allegedly and decided to investigate what was going on at Liones. Putting him in direct conflict with Hendrickson.

And that’s how he meets Meliodas and becomes friends with him.

We do kinda forget that his country was hit hardest by the demon race.

He finally wields Excalibur to take care of the most powerful demons. Turned out that they were just toying with him. They had no intentions of letting him walk out alive.

When Merlin saves him from certain death, Cusack used a spell to get into his mind, making the young king impale himself on his own sword.

Arthur remained dead until the very end of the show when he is revived by Merlin for a special purpose. Which is to serve as a vessel for Chaos, creator of everything. Yet he remains in control.

While this should make him absolutely unstoppable, his last challenge is to fight Cath, his cat friend who turned out to be an ancient beast who wanted to eat him once he became the King of Chaos. He loses an arm but survives. An interesting take but far from my favorite incarnation of the Pendragon monarch.
That looks interesting.
