When Shigeru Miyamoto came up with the idea for Yoshi’s Island, Nintendo almost canned the project as it wasn’t “as cool looking” as Donkey Kong Country.

    I’m so glad Nintendo came to their senses on this one. Yoshi’s Island is a beautiful game, through and through.
