The character Vile in the Mega Man X video games bears a strong resemblance to Boba Fett in Star Wars. While Capcom has denied the character was based on Boba Fett, and insisted it was a character from Mad Max. Nevertheless, his Japanese name is Vava which could have been translated into English as Baba.
