As always, Samus Aran is pretty cool. As far as I’m aware, Metro Dread is chronologically the latest in the series.

I actually thought the weakest suit was pretty cool looking.

But it was nice to finally upgrade your powers and abilities as the game progressed.

For the entirety of Metroid Dread, we find out Raven Beak was controlling Samus the whole time by pretending to be Adam.

And we find out that Raven Beak is partly her “father” through donated DNA.

By the end of the game, she’s becoming more Metroid than human. Almost having god-like power to defeat Raven Beak.

And Quiet Robe sacrifices himself to turn her back to normal. Which honestly, I think is disappointing. Her turning into a Metroid humanoid sounds like a concept they should have kept for one more game.
