Hector was one of the more interesting characters, especially in the last two seasons. He was the main protagonist of the video game Castlevania: Curse of Darkness and the show got him mostly right.

He originally served as a Forge Master for Dracula, helping him in his genocide of humans, despite being a human himself. But before Dracula was killed, he had a falling out and betrayed him.

After Dracula’s death, he quickly falls under the capture of the cruel female vampire Carmilla.

She knew he could create monsters for her army and Carmilla sends the gorgeous Lenore to seduce him and it works in trapping him.

Being tracked and bounded by magic, Hector couldn’t technically betray Carmilla. He was always trying to think of ways out of it and was working behind the scenes to revive Dracula to right his mistakes.

Him and Isaac reunite and the latter forgives him for his role in Dracula’s downfall but they agree not to revive their old master. Hector gives him what he needs to know to defeat Carmilla.

Hector survives the end of the series but I kind of wish he had ended up with Lenore. Not long after Carmilla’s death, she commits suicide by walking into the Sun.
